Slacker

I could say that I haven't been posting blogs for the last three days because I was sick. Or busy with life. Or that I simply forgot. Well, all three things are true. However, there is no good excuse to stop the ministry that I promised God to do.

But God knows I'm not perfect, and boy am I glad for that. He knows that you and I will stumble from time to time, but He's always there to catch us... and He will never let us fall. Jesus already did that... He already took the fall for us. Isn't that awesome??

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (NIV)

Sick and Overwhelmed

Today, I don't feel the greatest, plus I feel overwhelmed with everything else going on in such a busy life. I have been praying to have more energy and feel better. It made me think about how I don't recall the Bible ever mentioning Jesus being sick. I'm sure when God became man, he didn't become Super Man. But the thought that Jesus worked even with a cold is enough to keep me going to do God's work, too.

Barf at the End of the Tunnel

This week's sermon talked about Jonah and being swallowed then vomited by a big fish. And his experience and attitude was in complete contrast to Jesus's. Jonah finally followed God's mission for him after his affliction. Jesus followed God's mission because of His affection. I just hope that when I finally reach the light at the end of my tunnel, I don't find myself covered in vomit.
